In a bizarre partnership that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Revealed

According to the formal release, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of banned practices and monstrous changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Extra Material

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana together with numerous objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This release also adds the game's latest free story addition, titled "The Mystery."
